Lions Bring Home Academic Honors

Finlandia University had a total of 14 athletes named to the NCHA All-Academic team, as released by the league office. To be eligible, student-athletes must have at least a 3.30 G.P.A. and be at least a sophomore.

For the men, Finlandia had 12 selections which was second only to Marian (Wis.). Senior Walker Enstad and junior Cody Wickstrom made all-academic for the second time each.

First-time recipients were senior Matt McLaughlin and sophomores Timo Kocar, Bryce Mitzel, Alex Rezansoff, Alec Rounds, Max Seiter, Daniel Spencer, Adam Valicek, Cam Wirick and Matt Young.

For the women, the Lions had two selections; junior Sierra Meiners and senior Theresa Wolf.
